Directions:

1. This Hot Water Bottle is designed for Partial Filling.
2. When filling this hot water bottle do not use boiling water. Fill to a maximum of two thirds capacity or less. Do not overfill as this might cause the bottle to burst. Hold the hot water bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back. Expel air by lowering carefully on to a flat surface until water appears at the opening. Screw the stopper sufficiently tight, in practice finger tight should be adequate. Finally, make sure the funnel is empty.
3. if there is a possibility that prolonged contact with the skin could occur, an adequate cover should be used to prevent burns.
4. Under no circumstances should the hot water bottle be used as a cushion and be sat on.
5. Do not fill using water from the domestic hot water system as this can considerably shorten the life of the hot water bottle.
6. Prevent contact with oil or grease.
7. Prevent contact with hot surfaces.
8. When not in use, drain the hot water bottle completely and keep, with stopper removed, in a cool dry dark place. Prevent exposure to sunlight.
9. Do not place anything on top of the hot water bottle during storage.
10. Check the hot water bottle and stopper for wear damage prior to use.
11. Hold the hot water bottle by neck upside down position over sink, away from body, and squeeze lightly to check for leak.
12. Do not heat hot water bottle in Oven or Microwave Oven.
13. Replace the hot water bottle immediately if it looks damaged or worn, has cracks, splits, feels brittle or sticky.

Warnings: HOT WATER BOTTLE CAN CAUSE BURNS. AVOID PROLONGED DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE SKIN.
