Betadine Cold Sore Ointment, if applied at the first signs of a cold sore (usually a tingling or itching sensation) can help to check the infection. This product can help reduce the risk of spreading the cold sore.

Ingredients: Povidone-Iodine

Directions: Apply Betadine Cold Sore Ointment liberally to the affected areas at least 4 times daily.

Warnings: For external use only. If irritation, redness or swelling develops discontinue treatment. Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine. Use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding only if prescribed by a doctor. Do not use in infants under 6 months.
