Help replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and excess alcohol consumption.


Ingredients: Each sachet contains: Sodium Chloride: 0.53g, Potassium Citrate: 0.44g, Anhydrous Citric Acid: 0.88g, Anhydrous Glucose: 2.91g. In 4.9g (average mass) of powder. Contains: 0.8 mg/mL Potassium, 1.03 mg/mL Sodium.

Directions: Fill cup with 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water. (For babies under 6 months, it is recommended that freshly boiled and cooled water be used.). Empty contents of one sachet into 200mL cup of water and stir until the Hydralyte powder has dissolved. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. Discard unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated. Avoid mixing Hydralyte powder with cordial, fruit juice, soft or sports drinks as these can interfere with the rehydration process. 1 sachet = 200mL.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

  • Children aged under 12 months, take in first 6 hrs (sachets): 1-2, Max. sachets per day: 5.
  • Children aged 1-3 years, take in first 6 hrs (sachets): 2-3, Max. sachets per day: 7.
  • Children aged 3-6 years, take in first 6 hrs (sachets): 3-4, Max. sachets per day: 10.
  • Children aged 6-12 years, take in first 6 hrs (sachets): 4-7, Max. sachets per day: 13.
  • Adults and children aged 12 years or older, take in first 6 hrs (sachets): 7-10, Max. sachets per day: 20

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to other causes:

  • Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting the signs of dehydration. If signs of dehydration persist, consult your healthcare professional.
